Pledgeship at Phi Alpha Kappa is focused on true brotherhood and integrating the pledges into the house. Pledgeship is not membership, but it entails the development of an active interest in the fraternity and its mode of organization and operation. Though many have impressions of fraternities that involve hazing and humiliation, we accept members based on who they are and what they stand for, not on what they put up with.
